The People & Leadership Clarity Platform for Churches and Ministries.

At the heart of our work is a simple conviction: every person is a unique masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made by God. No one is “average.” Each leader carries distinct superpowers, God-given wiring designed for a purpose in His Kingdom.

Our mission is to help leaders uncover that design, align with their true calling, and lead from a place of health. When leaders thrive in their God-given wiring, their lives, ministries, and teams flourish.

The Journey of Our Founder

We began with the story of Greg Wiens, Ph.D. Greg’s path was anything but predictable.

  • Engineering mind: He started his career at General Motors after graduating from the University of Michigan.

  • A call to ministry: A pivotal moment in college drew him to Christ, leading him into seminary and pastoral ministry. He served as an associate pastor, a lead pastor, and even planted a church.

  • A breaking season: When the church plant didn’t grow as he hoped, Greg felt like a failure. This painful season pressed him back into reflection, study, and discovery.

  • A new passion: Returning to academia, Greg earned a Ph.D. in Psychometrics and became a faculty member at the University of Central Florida. There, God wove together his engineering mind, pastoral heart, and scientific training.

Through decades of ministry, research, and personal growth, Greg realized a deeper truth:

God is more interested in who we become than what we accomplish.

That realization shifted everything. Greg moved from striving to make people change to creating environments where people could choose transformation. He embraced his own “starter” wiring—thriving in the role of beginning new ventures for God’s Kingdom.

For over 40 years, Greg’s journaling practice has shaped his emotional health, self-awareness, and ability to help leaders do the same. Healthy Growing Leaders was born out of this convergence: a ministry that equips others to discover their wiring and align it with their calling.

What makes us different?

Our philosophy rests on a few core convictions:

  • Every leader is unique. God created each of us with a blend of hardware (innate traits), software (learned behaviors), and firmware (internal motivators).

  • Calling is bigger than a role. Your wiring, not your job title, defines your God-given calling. Roles change—calling doesn’t.

  • Transformation is holistic. True growth goes beyond skills; it touches the heart, shaping us spiritually, emotionally, physically, and relationally.

  • Relationships matter. Change happens best life-on-life, in healthy communities where truth is spoken in love.

  • Humility fuels learning. Leaders never arrive. Growth requires curiosity, openness, and a willingness to be wrong.
